Watchya,

a bit about me...

Having left college in 1989, I started out as a Typographer, but quickly moved into Art Direction and carried on that progression to the position of Creative Director. I have been freelancing now since 2009, working for many of London’s top employee communications agencies, in both Creative Director and Art Director positions.

I really enjoy the whole creative process. From the initial conceptualising, through to the sales pitch, both internally and externally, and then on to the production of the final product. It gives me a real buzz to see ideas finally materialise. I was once told by a previous Creative Director that “every creative department should have a Jono.” He explained that it wasn’t just because of my creativity, but also because of my dependability and willingness to do more than expected, whilst always working with a sense of fun, that made me stand out - to this day, I still try to work to that ethos.

I believe that what I can bring to a creative department is creativity, trust, commercial awareness, self motivation, an eye for detail and a grounded personality that makes me very approachable and easy to work with.
